Save the bears

A series of photographs collected over several years

A few days ago, I found once more a teddy bear thrown away in perfect condition.
Every time this happens I take out my phone(usually), and take a photo of these abandoned, always smiling plush animals, because I just have to.

Their previous owners place them in various positions near or on the bins.
Usually, it is in the middle of summer. Maybe it's too hot to keep their fur around for company. Maybe they are reminders of something that has to be forgotten.
Do they leave them there without squeezing them in the bin like trash because they feel sorry for disposing of them? Are they available for adoption? Are they infected? Are they just trash?

Dear previous owners, next time we would love a note with their story.
