ΕΙΣΟΔΟΣ ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΗ
Το έργο και κατ’ επέκταση η έκθεση «FOREVER», είναι πολυμεσικό/ή που εκφράζει την συντροφικότητα, την αγάπη και την αφοσίωση μέσα σε σχέσεις φροντίδας και συνύπαρξης.
Με μεγάλη χαρά, η έκθεση μεταφέρεται στο Σκλήθρο Αγιάς (40003), στο σχολείο του χωριού, εκεί από όπου ξεκίνησε. Για μία εβδομάδα οι φωτογραφίες θα βρίσκονται αναρτημένες στον εσωτερικό χώρο του δημοτικού σχολείου και θα γίνουν δύο μοναδικές προβολές της ταινίας μικρού μήκους στον προαύλιο χώρο.
Η έκθεση στην Αθήνα, φιλοξενήθηκε στο πατάρι του Woofcat Pet Grooming, όπου ήταν ένας από τους τόπους που ο μικρός μας φίλος ένιωσε ασφαλής. Η έκθεση αυτή μεταμόρφωσε για λίγες μέρες το χώρο σε τόπο συνάντησης, μνήμης και ευαισθησίας όπου οι επισκέπτες δεν στάθηκαν απλά απέναντι στα έργα, αλλά έγιναν μέρος της αφήγησης. Με συγκινησιακή φόρτιση, με αυθόρμητες συζητήσεις και βλέμματα που παρέμειναν για ώρα πάνω στις εικόνες, η έκθεση απέδειξε ότι η τέχνη βοηθάει να έχουμε μία ουσιαστική επικοινωνία. Καλλιτέχνες και θεατές, με κοινές εμπειρίες με σκύλους ή και χωρίς, βρέθηκαν και αντάλλαξαν συναισθήματα και εμπειρίες.
Ο bmin0r, φωτογράφος, filmmaker και video artist με έδρα την Αθήνα, χρησιμοποιεί τη φωτογραφία, το βίντεο και τα πολυμέσα για να διερευνήσει τη σημασία του να ζούμε στο παρόν ως εμπειρία, ρυθμό και καθημερινότητα. Ο bmin0r στο FOREVER περιγράφει πώς η συνύπαρξη με τον υιοθετημένο του φίλο τον ώθησε να εξερευνήσει ακόμη περισσότερο την πρακτική του και πώς η συντροφικότητα δημιούργησε ένα ακόμη επίπεδο, ώστε να συνυπάρξουν και να κάνουν όμορφα πράγματα μαζί. Έγινε ο ένας κομμάτι της ζωής του άλλου και φυσικά ο μικρός φίλος συμμετείχε στην καλλιτεχνική έκφραση του bmin0r. Άλλοτε περιμένει υπομονετικά, άλλοτε μετακινεί την κάμερα ή το τρίποδο, προσπαθώντας να βολευτεί δίπλα του και άλλοτε απλά τον αγγίζει.
Ένας σκύλος σουρεαλιστικός, σοβαρός και επιφυλακτικός, που μετά από όσα βίωσε κατά τη διάρκεια των καταστροφικών πυρκαγιών του 2021 στην Ελλάδα, κατάφερε να βρει την παντοτινή του οικογένεια.
Η επιμέλεια της έκθεσης είναι της εικαστικού και φωτογράφου Αθανασίας Παναγέα καλώντας το κοινό να εξερευνήσει τη διπλή οπτική από το ύψος του bmin0r ή από το ύψος της ματιάς του ευγενούς αυτού πλάσματος. Η περιήγηση στον χώρο αντανακλά την αρχική ιδέα του καλλιτέχνη να συνθέσει μια “εικαστική” αφήγηση - έναν διάλογο ανάμεσα στην οπτική ματιά των δυο τους, με αποτέλεσμα τη σύνθεση μέσα στο χώρο δύο επιπέδων θέασης. Τελικά, η ματιά του θεατή έρχεται και επιβεβαιώνει τα διαφορετικά ύψη των έργων, καθώς και τις εκτυπώσεις σε διαφορετικά μεγέθη.

FREE ENTRANCE
FOREVER is a multimedia exhibition that explores companionship, love, and devotion through relationships of care and coexistence.
It is with great joy that the exhibition returns to Sklithro, Agia (40003), to the village's primary school, the land where it all began. For one week, the photographic works will be exhibited inside the school building, while two special screenings of the accompanying short film will take place in the school courtyard.
The exhibition was first presented in Athens at the Woofcat Pet Grooming, one of the places where our little companion felt safe. For several days, the space was transformed into a place of gathering, memory, and shared sensitivity, where visitors did not simply stand before the works but became part of the narrative itself. Through emotional encounters, spontaneous conversations, and prolonged moments of contemplation, the exhibition demonstrated how art can foster genuine communication. Artists and visitors alike—with or without personal experiences of living with dogs—came together to exchange stories, emotions, and reflections.
Based in Athens, bmin0r is a photographer, filmmaker, and video artist whose practice combines photography, moving image, and multimedia to explore what it means to live in the present as experience, rhythm, and everyday life.
FOREVER reflects on how life alongside his adopted companion encouraged him to deepen his artistic practice, revealing how companionship itself became another creative layer through which they could exist and create together. They became an inseparable part of one another's lives, and his four-legged companion naturally found a place within the artist's creative process. Sometimes he patiently waits, sometimes he nudges the camera or tripod while trying to settle beside him, and at other times he simply reaches out with a gentle touch.
A surreal, serious, and cautious dog, he survived the devastating wildfires that struck Greece in 2021 before finally finding his forever family.
Curated by visual artist and photographer Athanasia Panagea, the exhibition invites viewers to experience a dual perspective: from the height of bmin0r's gaze and from the eye level of his noble companion. The installation reflects the artist's original vision of creating a visual dialogue between these two points of view, resulting in two distinct levels of viewing throughout the space. The audience ultimately completes this experience by engaging with the varying heights and scales of the photographic works.
As the artist quotes: "Our lives will be connected forever."
